"I give clinics for the pure enjoyment of teaching, working with the kids and being able to remain involved in the sport of goat tying. I price my clinics below that of other instructors, because I feel these clinics should be about the kids. After clinics, I try to stay connected with my students to provide support and encouragement."

It seems in this day and age, young girls are so quick to give clinics soon after their first big accomplishment. It is amazing that these "one shot wonders" feel that they are qualified to give clinics. Karen did not begin giving clinics until she had received her Bachelor's Degree in Education, had attended several coaching clinics herself and had racked up enough accomplishments and championships to prove her technique is fast and CONSISTENT. Karen gives clinics for the pure enjoyment of helping today's youth, and purposely prices them below that of other equivalent clinics. Each clinic is filled with endless hours of instruction, and each student leaves with several "tokens" for the hard work they endured. Karen truly is dedicated to the kids and makes an honest effort to stay connected long after a student's participation in her clinic.
